Honey and Products Derived from

Beekeeping

A Sustainable Project with Social Impact

At El Dorado Development SAS, our honey and beekeeping products business line focuses on offering the highest quality, environmentally friendly and sustainable products. We work closely with local beekeepers, including indigenous and rural communities in remote regions, where traditional beekeeping methods that have been passed down through generations are practiced.

This project not only focuses on the production of excellent quality honey, but also seeks to strengthen local economies by involving the most vulnerable communities, promoting their development and empowerment. Through a fair trade approach, we provide our beekeepers with fair payment and provide them with the necessary tools to improve their production, creating a business model that benefits both producers and communities as a whole.

Sustainable Development and Respect for Biodiversity

Commitment to biodiversity is a fundamental pillar of our beekeeping business line. We ensure that all our production practices are sustainable, respectful of local ecosystems and contribute to the conservation of native flora and fauna. Beekeeping is not only essential for honey production, but also plays a key role in pollination, which directly benefits the plants and crops in the producing regions.

Inclusion of Rural and Indigenous Communities

Our line of honey and beekeeping products is designed to directly involve rural and indigenous communities in remote areas, who play a crucial role in production and environmental conservation. Through training and support in sustainable beekeeping practices, we empower beekeepers, improve their production, and offer them access to broader markets. In this way, we help create stable sources of income for families and foster the economic development of communities.

International Marketing and Community Growth

By marketing our honey and its derivatives internationally, we are able to access global markets that value quality and sustainability. This allows us to generate economic returns that are directly reinvested in the producing communities, ensuring a better return for beekeepers and, consequently, greater well-being for their families and communities. The income obtained is also used to improve local infrastructure, such as schools, health and basic services, promoting the growth and development of rural and remote regions.
