FIELD GEOLOGY
Field geology is the discipline that studies geological features directly on the ground, analyzing rocks, minerals, fossils, soils and structures such as faults or folds. Through observations, geological mapping and sample collection, it allows us to understand the processes that have shaped the Earth, reconstruct its geological history and evaluate natural resources or risks such as earthquakes and gradual falls. It is an essential tool for applying theoretical knowledge to the practical study of our planet.
